Summer Cancellations

More than 30 days prior to arrival date - deposit refund less $50 cancellation fee.

Within 30 days of arrival date - deposit forfeited.

Non Summer Cancellations

More than 14 days prior to arrival date - deposit refund less $25 cancellation fee.

Within 14 days of arrival date - deposit forfeited.

Minimum Stays

3 nights on weekends in July and August

2 nights for special weeknight Tanglewood concerts

2 nights for rooms with fireplaces Fall and Winter

2 nights on Columbus Day weekend

Occupancy

Rooms - 1 or 2 guests are included in the price of the room, additional guests are $15 per person.

Suites - up to 4 guests are included in the price of the rooms, additional guests are $15 per person.

Alcohol

The Apple Tree Inn has a full liquor license.  Liquor is available for purchase in our Tavern, or from front desk staff when the Tavern is closed.

Because of our liquor license, guests are not permitted to consume alcohol not purchased from the Apple Tree in the public areas or on the grounds of the Inn.

Apple Tree Inn

The best value in lodging in the Berkshires. Located in Lenox, MA. The Main House was built in 1885 as a private residence. It has been an inn since 1937. In the 1960′s and 1970′s it was a well known singles resort name Avaloch. In the 1970′s it included the third and last Alice’s Restaurant. It contains a large parlor with a fireplace, a tavern, the restaurant, the inn office and 13 country inn style guest rooms, including 3 suites. All rooms have private baths and wireless internet. Some of the rooms have fireplaces or mountain views. The use of stairs is required to access all of our rooms. Baggage service is typically available from 8am until 3:30 pm. Baggage service is not usually available outside of that time period. We have a 3-night minimum stay on weekends in the summer, a 2-night minimum stay in rooms with fireplaces in the winter, and a 2-night minimum stay on some holiday weekends.
