From New York Metro Area:
(Approx. 3 hour drive) Major Deegan Expressway or Henry Hudson Parkway
to Saw Mill River Parkway to Taconic Parkway (North). Taconic Parkway
to NY Rte 203 East (Chatham/Austerlitz exit) to intersection with
Rte 22. Left onto Rte 22 North approx. 4 miles to intersection with
Rte 102 Right onto Rte 102, approx. 3.5 miles to stop sign in W. Stockbridge
Right at stop sign.
Continue on Rte. 102 approx. 2 miles to the intersection
of Rte. 183. Left onto 183 (north) approx. 3.5 miles to Kripalu
Center on the left. IMMEDIATELY past Kripalu make a very sharp
left onto Richmond Mtn. Rd. and The Apple Tree Inn will be the first
driveway.
From Boston - Hartford:
(Approx. 2 hour drive) Mass Pike to Exit 2 (Lee Mass. - U.S. 20
West). Outside of Lee, U.S. 7 North joins U.S. 20. Turn left at
the second traffic light onto "183 South - Lenox Center." Go into
the town of Lenox; when you come to the monument, bear left to stay
on 183 South (West Street) for 1.5 miles. Just past the main gate
of Tanglewood, bear right at the fork in the road, and you will
see the "APPLE TREE INN" sign.
From I-90 Eastbound
Exit B3 (Austerlitz Rte 22) Rte 22 South approx. 0.5 miles to intersection
with Rte 102 Left onto 102, then proceed as from Taconic Parkway.
